if you are too shy to ask them, cos most ppl wouldn't have a problem even thinking of doing that, then make a big sign that says "who are you?" and stand right in front of them and not move till they answer. this might however cause an adverse reaction so make sure you note where the exits are and you are wearing some good running shoes just in case.
