Whoever told you that has no idea what they are talking about. I can go for hours without and often wait a whole hour after getting up before I have my first coffee of the day.

Normally, your body will react to no caffeine within 24 hrs. if you've been drinking it every day for a long time. Usually the first indication is a headache.

Dragon can go a loooooooooooooooong time without caffeine. Then Dragon gets a migraine and has to have her Dr. Pepper. Sigh.

I usually get a headache in about 18 hours. That is my first jones. I drink tea every day.
