For the person or other people who are just going to say I don't see the sense in answering, then why the hell answer. No matter what question you ask there is always someone to say something annoying beside the point.

goths are people, emos are people to. goths don't like preps, and vice versa....it's stupid. you should see people for who they are. in school i dressed semi-preppy and played a lot of sports, but i was friends with everybody. that's stupid to judge people on clothes and music preference

i think of they are judged to quickly via the waythey gown. for the "emos" that often look dissatisfied and are continually depressed ought to get out greater. they must do issues that they discover to be relaxing. i genuinely hate the reality that there are "emos". and the reality that it quite is definitely a word. i help them a hundred% yet suggestion I genuinely have for them is to basically shop your head up whilst the going gets hard and to undergo in ideas that there is often something greater desirable then the place they are at, they only ought to pass discover it. "goths" are like popular human beings. they hear to categories of track, they might pass to a pair shows, and that they positioned on alot of black. i don't have something agaisnt them the two. yet to anybody that prejudges them needs to open your eyes and get to correctly known any "emo" or "goth" greater desirable.

Ive been called "goth" and "emo" and "Prep" and everything but that's just because that's how I was dressed for that one particular day, otherwise I wear whatever I like from Hot topic to H&M. But I think that its all kinda fake, like trying to make a point or something maybe. Its hard for me to conceive that a person can only like 1 style or 1 of anything. people are just wrapped up in being something else and fitting in. I think it pollutes their "actual" individuality. And Ive had enough friends in every "group" you can think of to base my answer on. :]

I rly hate that term "emo" Like really, what is that supposed to mean? Emo is supposed to mean emotional, and is mostly used for music. Emo doesnt mean suicidal, and its annoying that people just assume that. Goth is like the same thing. Just a type of look/style....not SUICIDAL

They're disgusting. I'm so sick of everyone acting like "gothicism" and "preppiness" and all these other stupid terms for groups of shallow idiots are some form of ethnicity, as if you're born a "goth" or you're born a "preppy" or you're born an "emo." They're all a bunch of morons with no personalities of their own, so they hide behind a false guise of individuality and pseudo-intellectualism to conceal the fact that they're really just like all the other insecure adolescents with no real personal identities. We mustn't "accept" them because that's giving into their narcissism. The fact is, there are two kinds of people: people like goths, who think the world revolves around them and their stupid fashion statements, and people like those brave soldiers dying in Iraq so the other kind of people can continue to live the mixed-up, meaningless lives they do. Which kind do you want to be?

I've met some pretty nice goths.
I don't know so much about emos?

I didn't know "emos" dressed a certain way.
Goths, I believe, dress in that manner to evoke some sort of reaction from people. It seems to me they'll take any sort of attention, good or bad.
It's like they convey this message: "If I can't get noticed by being just myself, then I'll get noticed by dressing & acting like this".
It seems like they take pride in being "society's rejects", but that won't get you a decent career in life.

I like them, and they don't seem to be very well understood by most people. Especially the emo thing, because it seems that nobody can agree on what it is.
