I'm quite surprised at how many people on here think that Ken Livingstone is corrupt. I don't like the man one iota and his views and beliefs would be more suited to Mother Russia or Communist China than the UK.
His views and his 'vision' for London may not have been what Londoners wanted, but I actually think that he does whatever he does with a conviction that he personally is doing the right thing.
That said, he is a bloody menace, just like his mentor Tony Benn, who is another politician that this country has no room for.
All I am saying is, be a bit careful? Don't confuse your personal dislike and predudices of this man with his actual ability and sincerity to his job to the best of his ability?
I think his alleged anti semetic comments were at best untimely and I have a great love and affinity towards the Jewish people and have always got on very well with them. Even the so called difficult ones!
At worst you could possibly define this as 'Inappropriate behaviour unbecoming a politican or digniatary of high office' and even though I'd like to see him go, I would prefer to see him elected out democratically and then fade into political obscurity than I would see him go in a Media and financial circus over this!

Wake up. Hes a politician. The establishment looks after each other. It will fizzle out again like the last one. If I was a judge I will throw the case out. How do you tell if the guy was Jewish anyway? And most important, If someone wants to compare bad behaviour then Nazi guard is a good catch all. Crying, "My feelings are hurt because of the holocaust" is tosh.

Didn't hear the radio and I must admit I did support him when Maggie Thatcher was getting rid of the GLC but, if it's true, I look forward to him being made bankrupt as he certainly isn't the man or politician he was then. They say power corrupts and you could argue against that but, look at the politicians we have now.

Give someone enough rope and they will hang themselves. And he couldn't have done a better job of it if he tried. The man is corrupt, immoral, unethical and deserves every last catastrophe that befalls him. I for one cannot wait to see his downfall, and I'll be happy to stand outside the courthouse and suggest he might want to consider walking home now he has put the bus and train fares up so high he can't afford them any more.
Ah, sweet justice!

He's one of that modern breed of wealthy socialists. Wearing Saville Row suits and driving around in Jags. Hypocrite! I might just donate some money to the prosecution lawyer. He does what the f u c k he likes but imposes his will on us. Stalin did that in Russia for years: do as I say not what as I do.

I was wondering why he is extending the congestion charge to the West.
I feel further increases on the way.

I think Ken's great. *If* he loses - he was quoted out of context, the case shouldn't even be at this stage.
