This guy seem to be hot off the wavier wires. My question is, can a 5'9" 185 WR really be of consistant fantasy points value? I am asking this because I am holding on to Chambers as a "wait and see" with a new QB. Opinions?

Welker is a small but talented player for the Dolphins. Most of his catches r short and he is usually open because he was the 3rd WR on the team and was underestimated. Now that Marty Booker is injured and Welker has had a few big games, defenses will start to cover him more. He has yet to reach the endzone. Chambers is still the #1WR but if your in a deeper league (12 teams or more) then it wouldn't be stupid to pick Welker up as a reserve for now.

No value to Welker, he is the #3 WR on a team with little tallent and pathetic QB's. Plus, Miami likes to use McMichael a lot, and Brown is a good receiver out of the backfield, so he's a #4 or 5 option on a bad team.

All right I picked up Wes Welker and I have Chris Chambers...

I might start both of them in week 7 seeing as there going up against one of the worst pass defenses in the Green Bay Packers!

I picked him up because my number one reciver Bernard Berrian has a BYE. But then again Reggie Williams my other starter is playing the Texans who have the worst pass D period!

If you can use him because your other recivers arent looking as strong for Week 7 its a good time to use him.

Also I like that the Miami Coachs are giving Joey Harrington the start over Culpepper I think knows and understands the Offense better...plus Joey has played the pack before.

So if you need a week 7 starter go for it!!

Wes is really great in a PPR league, and may even give you a present if you're playing in a league that gives points for a kick return touchdown (rather than to the D/ST). He runs great routes, isn't afraid to go over the middle, and Joey Harrington has a good rapport with him. Personally, I'd pick him up in my league and start him this week, except for the fact that I'm already starting Ronnie B and Randy McM, and the 'Fins have been killing me all year.

-Regards

You are shooting yourself in the foot if you go with 2 WRs on the same team with a less than a top 5 QB

bypass with Welker like a number of different guy pronounced they simply have one Revis yet although Cromartie isn't precisely a push over the two so it somewhat is a hard day for all New England receivers.

I wouldn't care much for Welker. Look at it this way...even if he is a great wideout, do you think the dolphins have a true offense? the answer to that is no. So don't expect Welker to put up any big numbers.
