anytime you are put on any kind of medication it will interfere with your birth control.... call any pharmacist and ask them just how badly it can ... it may not be a big enough percentage to worry about

All antibiotics have risks that interfere with the effectiveness of a birth control pill....which is the reason people tend to get pregnant while on the pill. They're uneducated about it.

what type of antibiotic is it? maybe the doctor misunderstood you. on the bottle of the antibiotics does it say anything about affecting birth control?

Yes, ALL antibiotics do. The doctor that prescribed it and your pharmacists would have told you this.

I would assume YES unless you know for sure how the two drugs interact. Be SAFEr, not wondering if you're ready to be a mommy!!!!!
