I have had pelvic pain for some time now and I went to my GP and he did an outer examination and said I was fine, I had a urine sample taken and that also came back fine. Today I had really bad pain around my pelvic area and I thought it was just trapped wind or constipation, I went to the toilet and found blood in my pants, I've had my period this month, it was only slight spotting and also when I wiped myself, its gone now, but I'm very scared! What should I do? I have been having increased need to urinate aswell? I am a virgin and I am 17 years old. I know no one can diagnose me but my doctor but I wanna know some more opinions before I take it further.

Well, everyone's period is irregular at times. Maybe it's just coming back again in the same month. Stress can sometimes throw your whole cycle off. And the pain might just be cramps.

Not sure what you mean by outer exam, but when is the last time you had a pap smear. If he did a vag. exam that could explain the blood spots. If the pain continues just keep calling your doctor or ask to go to urologist.
Hope it helps some, but your right the doc is the best to diagnose.
Best to you!

If you really trust the doctor you saw the first time, go back and let him know about the blood and continued pain. If you are not sure that he is giving you all you need, talk to your parents and see if you can go see an OBGYN for a full exam...

The pain could be from you ovulating... my doctor had told me about how some women go into the emergency room thinking they are dieing- but their body is just releasing an egg. As far as the bleeding it could be a number of things. all of this could just be because of stress... or it could be worse.

You really need to see an obgyn about it.

Good luck!

When my cycle shifts dates I get two periods a month or miss a month. I would go to another OBGYN to be sure or Planned Parenthood (it won't cost so much) to get another opinion.
