Well the 06 focus is still under warranty, the lexus is not. the lexus is more of a comfort than the focus, but has 90k and probally needs some maintance that has not been done yet like timing belt and seals, etc. I would say for value get the focus. As far as resale the lexus does hold better resale as you can tell because when a focus is 12 years old it is going to be a 500 dollar car. But on the other hand 8000 dollars for a 12 year old lexus is kind of steep also.
