I had a 13 year history of psoriasis, though I was in good health otherwise. But these severe large, thick and scaly excoriated plaques on my neck, ears, trunk and limbs ruined the way I was leading my life. By coincidence I live in Spain as well and am suffering of psoriasis.
One of the least aggressive ointments I have used for some time is Silkis pomada. It can even be used on places where other ointments cannot be used like on the face and in body folds. I am not sure whether it contains steroids, but you can ask in the farmacia about that. The active ingredient is Calcitriol.

My advice would be just keep moisturising, using aqueous cream, and don't use anything else until you've seen your doctor. I don't know if they have chemists in Spain with a qualified pharmacist, if you do have them you could try asking for advice there.

Try using Eucerin lotion or cream. It's a really thick cream. You could also try Vaseline or Aquaphor. Eucerin is my favorite, though.
