try www.dance.net. I am a dance teacher and we use that web site often.
I forgot to mention that this web site is great to find dance teachers anywhere you live. it is a great place for teachers, dancers, etc.

Where do you live? That could get you more anwsers!
I live in Plant City Florida! I have friends that live far away, come to Jackie's Dance Theatre and Gym. On the 21 of October come to a performence in Plant City, Plant City is so small, you can't miss it. It starts at 10:00 there are girls performing and try to find the lady in charge of the dancers and tell her you want to join.
My friends live in Tampa, Seffner, etc..
