I heard from someone that in order to keep a steady relationship you must be able to keep a plant alive or an animal..... if this is so I suck because i was just informed at my work i am responsible for the plant in the window and it is dying as we speak..... Am I doomed for failure?

That's real as the saying "Satan cured a lady who was sick for 15 years." Don't worry, that's just a fiction, the only real part is true is the part where you most water love with kisses and details as you water your plant.

No it's not true, I've killed many plants and managed to keep others alive for years. A relationship is based on love, trust, and communication. As for the plant in the window, find out what kind of plant it is, look up the care details on line or at your local nursery, if it does not belong in the window, move it. Don't believe old wives tales. Nothing comes of them unless you believe it will. You'll be fine, and good luck.

Oh dear, someone is really playing with you!
This sort of thing is an exercise designed for people who have emotional detachment disorders. If they can devote themselves to, first, keeping a plant alive for at least 30 days...they are eventually encouraged to get a pet. It's a bonding experience.
You'll be just fine. Fun question though!

lol lol....a steady relationship is dependent on trust, honesty, communication and love.....it would be a very sad day for the world if it could only form on the basis of a living plant or animal....lol....whoever came up with that was probably reading way too many Feng Shui books.....lol....don't worry, I'm sure your relationships will do fine >>>> plant or no plant!

I don't know....I can't keep a plant alive to save my soul, but I'm actually going through a friendly divorce and my ex is still my best friend. There may be hope for you yet.

I dont think this is true at all. Relationships depend on you and the person plants and animals have nothing to do with that.

That is just dumb, the plant dying could be due to any number of reasons. Lack of water, too much water, not enough light, too much light etc......Some people dont have a green thumb.

no i dont think its true at all maybe an animal but not small things like that because a relationship is a totally diffrent thing so dont worry about it wiil be fine
