the reason there are so many torn apart relationships and missery in this world.lots of people complain about smokers, but, ive never seen a marriage broken up over it.lots of my family members were drunks and drug addicts, and most are dead, and the rest are miserable. its time for people to get off the stuff and be happy.and yes ther are those who want to be strung out and wasted just to make every ones life hell. so stay away from them so u dont end up in the house of pain with them

There are too many of them out there.I think we should ship them over to Iraq and let them fend for themselves.The laws are weak here in the states, the government isn't going to spend our hard earned money to help any one who is American.whether it be for alcohol or drugs,they think enough people will kill themselves and others so they just don't care or worry about anything that might be for the good of our country and our people.Good Question

Doesn't happen that way for everyone. Just look at the hippies. They're all about love and they get stoned everyday. Of course, the hard drugs like heroin, cocaine aren't good but pot's OK. And having a few drinks with friends is alright, too.
I think that over-indulgence is the problem with some people. In moderation, pot and booze is OK.
But i'm in a band so what do I know?

I know what your saying it does nothing but tear people apart and families especially! I am speaking from experience and what is really sad is that the biggest one of all is alcohol because its all over the media and everyone thinks that is the answer for everything. Noone can just chill anymore there has to be alcohol involved. It is soooo sad and it is just gonna get worse my friend!

True that, many people are addicted. They may think it is okay, but it is unhealthy for everyone around them. My sister is an addict. I can not bare to look at her sometimes. She looks aolder than our mother!
I have seen so many people die crash and burn because of drugs. I agree, to stay away if you are unable to help them help themselves.

I'm sorry your family has a history of addiction, but that's not true of all families....addictions can be genetic. Many people can be moderate drinkers or *smokers* and have no problems.
