I think it really depends on the chapters. I know sometimes I write a chapter and sum things up in 800 words but my next chapter will be 7000 words. As long as you feel that you're covering the point of each chapter well, I wouldnt' worry about length.

No real answer to this. For example: Gabriel Garcia Marquez's " No One Writes to the General," is about 300 pages and consists of 5 paragraphs

There is no standard for chapters in literature so the author has free reign to break up his book in whatever fashion he wishes.

Do you honestly care? "Average words per page" doesn't mean anything except how small the words are on average, plus what percentage of the page is words instead of pictures.

A normal adult novel generally runs about 90,000 - 120,000 words. YA and children's books have fewer words.

number of words is nothing. It needs to be while written and eye catching.
