Well, you probably won't find any of these in a plus sized store except for the accessories, but here are the latest trends. Also, you could apply your self for The Look for Less or What Not to Wear. I reccomend The Look for Less, because you run around with a stylist, like you wanted.
Chains (on your handbags), Gold, RED SHOES, Tunics (but like, classier ones.) Heavy knit dresses, wide belts, boots, deep colors, plaid is back, pea coats, trenches, dark skinny jeans, brown, deep purple, trousers, leggings or tights.
Beware. Do not put leggings under mini skirts. That, my friend, is out. Try a heavy knit dress, or a long grey plaid trench with interesting detailings. You should even put a wide leather brown belt over the trench, that would be cute. Example: They have a really cute one on the cover of Shop Etc. a couple months ago, it was Ralph Lauren I believe. His designer collection.

Anybody but not Trinny and Susanna - they've sold out to Nestle who kill 1million babies a year by telling lies about breast milk in the developing world.
Trinny and Susanna should be banned from our screens.
You've probably got really good dress sense yourself, you just need to believe in yourself.

Try finding yourself a nice wrap shirt or sweater, form fitting that is cut a little longer(say, right to the end of the zipper on your pants) match that with a pair of dark jeans, boot cut(make sure they aren't flared) and a nice pair of shoes with a heal.
The wrap shirt with a v-neck will accent the chest and draw a diagonal line across your midsection, taking away from the hips. the boot cut and the heels will give you a taller, more elongated look.
Hope this helps you!

Topshop do a VIP shopping service which is completley free! I think you have to book ahead and ob you are only limited to topshop clothes, but you dont have to buy anything and can take the tip with you.
Wrap dresses are the utimate versatile outfit, you can dress up or down, suits all sizes and means you can put one on with out worrying what top goes with what skirt!
Whenever I have a fat day I pop one on and avoid an hour of stressing!

I don't know if they have Lane Bryants in the UK or not. You need to fit the largest part of you. Buy a size that fits your bust and hips, and, if necessary, have it altered to fit everywhere else. A short jacket over dark pants and a dark shirt will make you look taller and thinner. Wear pointed shoes and carry a large purse.

I`m sure you have more fashion sense than Trinny and Susanna...take a long look in the mirror when you try things on and be honest with yourself..Its no good trying to please others..just aim to please yourself then at least one person is happy.

I have a similar problem. I like to wear long jackets and pants with a plain front(no pleats). With tops, nothing looks worse than one that is too tight across the bust. It is better to get a bigger size and alter the shoulders than have it pull across the front.
