Both of my starting fantasy running backs, Frank Gore and Deuce McAlister have bye weeks during week 7. I need a trade for a good running back for that week, and I thought that Tikki Barber might be a good option for Frank Gore. What do you think?

The whole idea of trading in fantasy football is to try to get as much as you can while giving up as little as you can.

Nobody in there right mind will give you Tiki. Go to you waivers and try picking up Washington or Barlow up. They're playing Detroit next week. Or Drew of Jax. They'll blow out Houston and he should get a cheap TD against them.

You may think so but I don't think someone would bite on that. Barber is one of the best fantasy RBs in the league and has been for the past few years. Gore is having a good season, this season but he is somewhat fumble prone. I also don't think he is nearly the receiving RB as Barber is.

Of course Tiki is the best running back in the NFL, especially later in the yr when he really gets going he will have at least 3 150+ games after week 8.

do you seriously think the other guy is going to go for that. i know i wouldn't i would laugh at the fact someone is offering me a second year rookie for a seasoned vet that will gain over 1700 yards and have 12 tds this year. gore will be likely to crack 1500 and 9 td's with that weak o-line.

Tiki Barber is one of the best!! He is fast, furious, and doesn't fumble much. He is a usefull player, you would be crazy not to pick him.
