I do know that a lot of protein in the body's system can help to form kidney stone. For instants, one who will or doe's drink lots of milk will cause the stone to develop. This in turn will cause severe back pain to the point of not being able to walk.

Protein in the urine is usually indicative of an infection, What is actually in those 'shakes? Don't hav3e too many and see a doctor for the infection.

Don't think so protein is water soluble. In fact the average body can hold as much protein as the body's weight is pounds.

Ask another doctor because I have heard the same thing about those shakes and let me know. I have been wondering about that myself.
