Does anyone know how much the PlayStation 3 will cost i hear its 500-1000 thats true ?

There is a version that will be sold for $499 with a 20GB hard drive and one for $599 that will have a 60GB hard drive

In the US, the system with a 20GB hard drive will cost $499, while a model with a 60GB drive will cost $599. Release on 17 Nov 2006 i think.
New also is that the 20gb version will also have a HDMI connector (before they said the 60gb only would have this)
Not your qstn but they just cut the price in Japan. 20 gigabyte version of the PS3 = $430 (9,980 yen ) - on sale on 11 November (in Japan) to compete with xBox360 (+ HD-DVD drive)
Makes you wonder why US gamers have to pay $70 more!

$600 for 60 Gb harddrive
So start saving.
