I wonder how long you have been married. Answer that after 26 years, see if things have changed then.
I don't expect this to be picked as best answer because right now you have no idea that life gets in the way at times of the marriage.

Good to hear that what i someday hope for actually comes true!!
I believe that the only explanation for this is embedded in the bible
