black spot and powdery mildew on my roses but want to spare the beautiful Orb spider that has made such an intricate web, and dozens of bees and many butterflies that visit my miniature rose bushes. Do you know of a fungicide that does not contain an insecticide?

Sorry... I do not know of any and I have grown roses for a long time..... I take that back.. I did use a systemic insecticide and I believe that is OK to use.. I would check though with Home Depot to find out for sure.... make sure it is SYSTEMIC.. that is best for roses anyway

baking soda and a drop of dishwashing soap mixed with water works -- don't remember ratio. Does leave a little residue you can see but fairly effective. Whatever leaves that have black spot cannot be saved no matter what you use.

There are alot of them out there... check with your independent garden center for a full selection.

Bonide: Fungonil
Ortho: Daconil
Funginex
Ferti-Lome : Daconil
Halts

I hope that this helps
Good luck-

If you can find Funginex by Ortho, it is only a fungicide.
