What would you consider good reasons for wanting or leaving the job you are in. I dont feel comfortable with the people here at work, and its making me want to leave my job. I am unhappy and in turn taking it out on my family. Sundays are miserable for me becasue I am coming to work the next day and I feel that I dont fit in. The only reason why I am staying is because I am getting married next year and I cant be off work.

Any reason is a good reason because it's yours. I understand that times are tough and the economy sucks right now so jobs are hard to come by, but I think your happiness is much more important. I've been in this very same situation before and it's not fair to you or your family. Just try to start looking for something new, And widen your horizon. What you may have passed up in the past because you didn't think you'd like it, maybe check it out this time. You never know. Good luck and keep your head up!

If you are not happy with your job then start looking for another job before you leave your actual one. I made the biggest mistake in my life!!! I quit before i started looking for another job and it took me about 3months to find a full time job, make sure you have a back up if not you're going to regret it and when youre sitting at home jobless with no job youre gonna wish you would have waited just go to work and work and try not to pay much mind to those people, it may not be as bad as you think it is, believe me stick to your job until you find another one!! I learned a huge lesson, besides the point i had no money and just remember that your bills dont stop just because you're not working!!!

why don't u try looking for a new job and let them know about the time of you are taking i'm sure if you tell them before you get hired you will be good. Because what they hate is once you are already working and you let them know about that they will get mad. Trust me at my old job people would come in saying that they could work certain days and certain hours and since they sign a contract at the beginning saying they can work what they said, the boses would end up getting mad.

WOW!! I know exactly how you feel. Is there anyway that you can have your hours switched? If you go to HR there should be something that can be done. I left a job for those reasons too. Also because the man that was my supervisior told me to choose between my then 1 year old daughter or my job. You have to do what you feel is right in your heart and best for you. Good luck!

No one can do their best at a job that they are not comfortable with. I would advise you to move on, but I would try to find another job before I quit the one I already had.

You are not the only one. I tell people that all the time "sundays suck since you know you have to go back to work tomorrow"...lol...stick it out until you find something else especially since you need the money for the wedding. Get your resume out and start looking.

LEAVE! My last job was like that and I was depressed every single day. I also hated Sundays. I would get in the worst mood on Sunday evenings and take it out on my husband.
life is too short. leave as fast as you can and be happy with your coming marriage. good luck.

Use your time to find another job, it is much easier to look for work when you are working. Look for some thing in an area where you will be comfortable, and willing to an look for ward to going to work

Look around and find another job. If you need more education to aspire to a higher level then get the education needed at night or on line. Don't take it out on the family, gee, it's not them that is the problem. Take charge of your future.
