How do I become a vet tech?

I am finishing my 4 year BS in equine science from Colorado State, but I would like to work as a tech at a large equine hospital. Is it possible to do this with my BS, or do I still need a vet tech program?

You can apply but must meet the educational qualifications of that hospital in order to get into the tech program. Contact this hospital and they can tell you if there is any other things required. Each state is different. You may only need what you have taken in your state but in another need additional schooling.
