can you stain a dark color grout to a light color ?

Best way to do this is to dig out the existing grout. But you can buy grout stains and recolor your grout. depending on how dark it is is dependant on the outcome of your new color of course. you may have to do the very teadious process a couple times but YOU CAN STAIN GROUT. I work at a tile shop this is done often enough It can be done fairly easily.

No.. and do not even try it.. I am at this very moment.. grouting some tile in the bedroom.. that is.. the guy I hired is so I do know grout and the answer again is NO NO NO
