Looks like Sept last year the US and N. Korea had signed a deal to stopN. Korea's nuclear weapon program. Four days later, the US Treasury Department emposes criminal sanctions, effectively breaking the deal. So this is still all Clinton's fault right? Keep in mind the US version of Newsweek IS NOT running this story, only the international additions. Buried truth as usual.

The timing sucked, but North Korea has been counterfeiting US currency. This is a serious action by a government that deserves full and harsh sanctions. Why does this suck-up article fail to address the seriousness of the charges? The NK government has been engaged in an international criminal activity that should be considered unacceptable by everyone, yet this Kimmy-lover seems to gloss right over that, as if there was no good reason for the sanctions.

Sorry, but this significant truth about Kim's international criminal actions is what is being buried.

So what! Clinton tried to get Kim Jong Il to sit down to discuss a disarmament treaty, and no dice, Bush heralded BC on it. But that little yellow midget is crazy, and if any Americans want to start infighting about it, step to the line. Because I will pilot the plane that drops you off in N Korea.
Join their Army, fight for their side. Don't be a fool, this guy is a nut, the smartest thing to do would be to assainate him now. Even the NK's would thank us. Bill and George are on the same side. So are you just another liberal mudslinger spoiling for a fight? 'Cause I'll give you one!

Its obvious that the Bush administration has imperialistic ideals and essentially want to start a third world war. No matter what party of government you support there is to much truth to support the lies that this administration has already spun. Its only a matter of time before our nation is attacked and we experience what we have done to other country's. I just hope we learn from our mistakes and learn not to continue be a country of egotistical pigs.

I think it's pretty obvious that all of NK's efforts are intended to bring the USA to the negotiating table, they want an end to sanctions, I don't understand why more people can't see this.

I truly doubt your story, but perhaps it was because we KNEW N KOREA WAS LYING ALL ALONG AND BROKE THE CLINTON DEAL FIRST!
