My mother is 75 years old, and lives alone. She first started seeing cats and feeling cats on the bed with her. The cats didnt bother her. Spirits only come when she is ready to go bed. More often now, shes people, sometimes old, sometimes young, some dressed from eras long agao. Last night it waas just an old mans head on the side of her bed. She usually screams or yells go away, and they do. But she says cant sleep much anymore, because they just wont leave her alone. Should she move? Will the spirits follow her? Does anyone know someone who could come and help her? She lives near the cemetary, but not too close, she lives near the creek where alot of feral cats live and died, but the only thing that used to be in the palce where she lives now was once an old golf course. I am really worried about her.

I must also add....she does not have dementia, nor is she senile. She may be 75, but she is like a 50 year old. My family has a long history of being "young" even when we arent . She is not aged, or brittle, she is very active, and gets around like someone younger than she. She has alwyas been a healthy person. When we were growin up, we lived in a haunted house, I have seen many spirits and felt many spirits growing up and as a child. I beleive she is very intuitive. Her and I are alike in that way. I dont want hear answers like, "she is senile" I want to know how to help her deal with the spirits, and or make them go away.
I know when My was dying of cancer, she saw many nice dressed spirits at the end of her bed, sort of like waiting for her to come and join them. She was frightened, because dhe knew she was dying. It was very vivid.

you might want to get her checked for a chemical balance or dementia.... you should assume there is something wrong with her physically before you dismiss it as supernatural and miss something that could have been treated at the beginning stages.

Your mother is not being haunted. She needs to talk to her doctor and perhaps her minister about these episodes. If she has neither a doctor or a minister she needs both. When a person dies they go to judgment, they don't get to hang around and scare people. God doesn't permit it. Animals do not have spirits so they cannot haunt either. Your mother is most likely suffering from a sleep disorder or mild dementia, ask her Doctor for some mild sedatives to help her sleep.

light white candles [safely] in the home, and when these sporits come and wake her up, tell her to tell them that they are dead, go to God, go to the light and leave her alone...this works
a good reference is reading slyva browne;s book, you can find them at the library...
