i have deleted them for a reason. don't know how to add them. i used to access internet, windows media player and msn messenger from there instead of icons.

Right click on the area to the right of the start button, then slect Toolbars and make sure QuickLaunch is selected.

The you can just drag icons from the desktop down on to the Quicklaunch area.

You need to right click on the bar at the bottom of the screen and then choose properties. Then choose to tick the option to Show Quick launch. You can then drag and drop the icon shortcuts that you require into this area. You might find that the option just needs re-enabling.

The cut back left edge of the "toolbar" in residing domicile windows XP is the fast launch bar. the kind you get a shortcut there is to genuinely drag and drop it there. it is going to place a replica of the icon there, and return the only your dragged there to its' unique place.

make a copy of the short cut you want on the desktop then just drag and drop next to the start bar button

Right click your task bar - properties - put a tick in show quick launch and they should reappear like magic! lol

go to the icon you want on your start bar, left click and hold, drag to where you want it on your start bar. im pretty sure the original is left where it was but who cares anyway.

everyone else is giving useless inrformation
