My husband loves his job and so do I,but some days he comes home really stress out, and I try things to get his mind off of the stress or at least talk about it, but sometimes he dont like talking about the problem until he is over it. Thats make me upset because I want to help him but its hard when he wants to handle it on his own so that makes me stressed. I understand being in the Marine Corps is demanding and sometimes very stressful, so is it best for me to give him his space during times like that or take a different approach?

Give him time to chill out when he gets home. Let him kick back awhile and then talk to him when hes ready. We all need time when we first get home from work to destress and unwind. He does and hes just not ready to talk yet. Its all good...gives him time to collect his thoughts and you time to enjoy him being home whether or not you two are communicating yet. Best of luck.

You speak as though you want to help him deal with the stress but then say that it makes you uspset when he wont let you help in the way you want to. I would say let him deal with it in his own way. Maybe just ask him, how was you day , do you wanna talk about it. As far as being in the Marine Corp being stressfull, I guess it would depend on if he is a CO or a mechanic.

It isnt just the Marines that act that way most men just want to retreat to their cave and be quiet with a problem for a while and then they will talk about it. us girls on the other hand have to yark our mouths off. leave him alone he will resopnd in his own good time we are just different.

Seriously give him really good BJs as often as possible and then we will be de-stressed.

I would also like to thank him for serving his country.
