I use a prog called switch,

I've been wondering the same thing as well and I think I've worked out that you need to download a program to convert the format which you can get off this site:

You'll have to search for it though cos I can't remember how I found it but it definitely on this site!

The only thing is which I had problems with is that Itunes sometimes if not automatically protects the music so it can't be changed.

What you could try doing is burning them to a disc then burn them back say on to Windows Media Player and it may copy the files as MP3, but I'm not sure though because I haven't tried it yet!
