I have had the kids color halloween pictures, and i just did pumpkin cut outs and let them put the eyes, nose, and the mouth on them. Once again i need them to be easy, and i dont have a problem with making them 2 parts. (letting them do the first part one week, and the second part the week after) if that makes since.

Give them each a pine cone and an assortment of colorful chenille sticks ( not plain pipe cleaners but the fluffier version ) Show them how to bend the sticks into tail feathers to glue to the base of the pine cone and using a brown chenille stick bend it into a turkey head and neck and glue it to the top of the pine cone.

My favorite as a kid as well as with my own kids was the bird feeder... which ends up inevitable being a squirrel feeder, but who cares.....
Take a pinecone and have the kids use a safety knife or a popsicle stick to spread peanut butter all over the whole thing except the top and very bottom.
Once the peanut butter is on, take birdseed and spread it into a paper plate. Have the kids take the pinecone and rub/roll it into the birdseed and covor the pinecone generously!
Once the seed settles and kind of dries, tie a string arount the very top of the pinecone to hang. You have to tie it under some of the pinecone to make it stay. It won't stay if you use the stem.
Hang from a tree where they can watch without scarring the animals that come to feed off of it.
Have a blast!

This time of year you can pick up Halloween colored food colors. So here is what you do: First dress all kids in a smock...... (As food dye can stain)... And then get a large foil pan (the kind you can by at the dollar store for one time use) and fill it with some shaving cream. Drizzle the colors onto the shaving cream in random patterns......... then take a piece of cardstock and press onto the food color drizzled shaving cream and press down making sure to coat the entire piece of paper with shaving cream................... Peel up and lay onto a flat surface to dry for a few minutes. After ten minutes wipe the shaving cream off with a paper towel. Make sure you only wipe once or it will mess up the tie dye effect. Then they can use this as a matting for some of the pictures (totally rocks) or make gift cards and such :D Have fun

I love to do crafts and here are some good places to look for Ideas. Try Michaels.com, they have project ideas on line, its great. Also Pack-o-fun is a great craft magazine for kids. My brownie troop loves foamie crafts, the foamies come pre cut with sticky backs now so its great you can decorate almost anything with them. Also crayola makes fabric markers, the kids love it. They can draw on a tshirt or hat, all you need to do is put it in the dryer for thirty minutes to set it. Also the Disney channel website has craft links, called project play time. Have fun.

Have you checked in the Pack O Fun Magazine? There are usually tons of ideas.

You can also get some foam paper and have them die cut out or buy them pre cut. They can make door hangers, wall hangings, visors and a lot of other things.
