Relax...don't rush it or force the issue. Give the body a chance to recover hormonally if not physically.

Sorry for your loss---- I have had two very painful miscarriages & I have no children. I am 35. Basically, I was advised to wait 3-4 months after each miscarriage before "trying" to conceive again. This is due to the fact that first & foremost the doctors like to see your HCG level return to below 5. There can be many reasons for it not returning to that level such as a secondary pregnancy (tubal) as well. It is also difficult for doctors to tell if there is a new pregnancy if you have not allowed your HCG level to return to normal after the miscarriage. You also need to give your body and mind time to fully recover. My doctor checked my HCG levels, after each miscarriage, every 2 days until it was back to normal (below 5). I would really consult with your doctor about the best time to start trying especially since you are taking materna. In the meantime, just relax--- you have one child already & you are still young so you should be fine. Best of luck!!

In the weeks following a miscarriage a womans cycle will be out of sync, its also said that she may ovulate more often than usual too - this is natures way of replacing the lost baby as soon as possible. However, on an emotional level we may not be so ready, or alternatively we may be extra eager to replace what we have lost...
Like anyone ttc you should be sure to take your B vitamins & folic acid supliments & you should continue to do so till your 3rd month of pregnancy. Eat & drink well, as well as take gentle exercise. You are also more likely to concieve when closer to your ideal weight, avoid alcohol & cigarettes. Basically, you need to look after your general health, not only to increase the chances of falling pregnant, but also to have a healthy pregnancy. Your stress levels & even the excited waiting & wondering about falling pregnant can affect a womans cycle, so try & relax as much as possible & continue with normal life.
Having sex every 2-3 days will mean that a fertile window is never missed & will also mean you dont fall into the trap of timing your ovulation & sex becoming a chore done simply to get pregnant.
Its not neccessary to lay in certain positions, but if you truly wanna maxamise your chances of sucess ensure the man ejaculates deep into the vagina & lay on your back with your knees up for 20 minutes afterwards to allow more sperm to pass through the cervix, some women will stick a pillow or 2 beneath their bottoms. Its said that a womans orgasm will help sperm to travel up the vagina faster too, so she should orgasm at the same time or after the man.
I am sorry for your recent upset & i hope that you have a healthy pregnancy soon. I hope this helps.

miscarriages happen more often then you would suspect. some are for unknown reason. I know what you are going through. You will get pregnant again when it is time for you to. There is a reason the baby is gone and only God can explain why. God will bless you with another one soon. I have again started trying again... and it is 2 years later. So far 8 months into and nothing... I wish you the best of luck... and God Bless.!!!!

Hello I just had a miscarriage about 3 months ago and am currenlty 6 weeks pregnant again. There isn't really much that you can do but have sex. After a miscarriage you are very fertile and can pregnant soon after. Good luck and I'm sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. I understand your desire to get pregnant ASAP. I would suggest you give your body a few months (atleast 3) to recover a little from your loss. My reason for this suggestion is so your body doesn't automatically reject the next baby due to not being ready. This will give your next pregnancy a true chance to thrive and achieve the goal you want.

Try again around your ovulation time. Buy an ovulation predictor kit. Stay away from Ibuprofen, Aleve and things like that they tend to increase miscarriage. Good luck!

take time for yourself first. Wait at least 3 months before trying again. Start right now taking extra folic acid. The folic acid will boost the bodies "awareness" and will not allow it to reject the pregnancy. best of luck to you

relax. dont try to BE to GET pregnant. The stress makes it near impossible.
Instead just find a way to be content and enjoy sex.
You got pregnant before, it will certainly happen again, but the stressing over it will kill you.
