he obviously has some issue. maybe he is just trying to get attention. a lot of people are like that. why are you his friend is my question.. he doesn't seem like a very appeasing person to me

Well it definitely sounds like he's sexually curious. It could be a phase or he could be gay/bi. If it bothers you, just tell him. If you just want to know, ask. Since he's so vocal about it, chances are he's not going to get offended.
What no one else is asking and I'm only doing so because you didn't give much other detail, but how are you going to react to his answer? If he says he's gay, are you going to shun him or be OK with it? Even more, if you're gay or bi curious (only guessing, not stating), then maybe good friends can be even more. If I'm wrong about that, then sorry.

That's perfectly normal dude, don't get the wrong idea. He's just trying to be a good friend. If you were a good friend, the next time he mentioned those words you would bend over and present yourself to him for entry and say "Let's take our friendship to new levels". It's like a blood pact or something all guy friends do it. Your not a good friend unless you do.

He could actually be gay, courious, or just bi, or he could just be talking about it, trying to get attention, he could be straight, but trying to be something else, he could be sexually frusterated, there's no way of knowing. There's a big possibility that he dosen't even know what he is..
