What other things can you remember about this show? Was it a US show or Canadian - program/programme? Was there a host? Was it PBS/educational or regular tv?

There was a programme called The Cedar Tree, about a family. It used to come on late afternoon.

He's a catnapper. He likes to doze off a couple of times every three hours. It can be annoying if you're lunching with him. Sometimes I pretend I'm not in when he calls. He smells a bit too
