Newsflash: no one except American liberals think North Korea really had nukes.
Even China is backing down from their earlier, hard line position.
Kim Jong "Mentally" il made it up to try to get negotiations started again. He conned Clinton twice and the multi-lateral countries once. He was given financial incentives to abandon his nuke programs but instead expanded it with each monetary grant.
But conventional wisdom is that he was years away form a viable device. That proved to be the case when the seismic signature of his underground explosion was either a really, really small nuke, a lot of conventional explosives, or his nuke wasn't viable and failed on detonation.

If it's too late to attack North Korea, when was it too soon? Exploding a huge amount of TNT underground to simulate a nuclear device does not make them any more invincible than they already were. Even if and when they test a workable device, they won't have time to deliver more than one before they and the whole peninsula disappear from the earth. Taking soldiers out of Iraq should be done, but not because they are needed in Korea.
But, hey, go ahead and vote for a Democrat. Even if you're somewhat of an idiot, your vote will add to the greater good.

We arent, Because we would rather invade a country who allegedly has WMD's (Iraq) instead of a country who as repeadly admitted to having WMD's (N. Korea) but lets look at the reason why. what does Iraq have the N. Korea dosent? Oil. and what does N. Korea have that Iraq Dosent? China.....and needless to say that a war with china would put a pretty large dent in the american economy. not to mention a large casualty rate. and I dont think Bush would throw away his "hard earned" Monetary gains from iraq, to invade a country that we have nothing to gain from. I hope the US has learned a lesson about voting Republican.

It is not too late to attack N. Korea, there test was a dismal failure, the technology is simple but key parts are very well controlled by the UN Security Council leaders. As well as the USA and Russia and Ukraine and England and France.
Bush will withdraw from Iraq as soon as the N. Koreans discover a major oil field in their country. LOL.
And Iraq's oil suupply runs out.

Estimated pull out date is 2010.
We are not going to go deploy to Korea.
The ball was dropped by Clinton first.

Don't you see by now that Bush will never withdraw from Iraq. 2008 cannot come soon enough. It is time to send this country in a new direction.
