Everytime someone gets a divorce, should we have a memorial service for them?

Usually a lack of communication, lack of love, or wasn't ready for marriage. I am not sure.
Just always keep the lines of communication open, never go to bed angry, be faithful, be there for each other, and at the end of the day don't bring your work home with you, and have a wine time. Stop whatever you do at a specific time, pour a drink and sit down talk, and enjoy each other's company. My 'rents have been doing this for many many years, and they are really happy!

People get divorced b/c they simply can not stand one another presence anymore...this really cant be prevented sad to say..but the more people get married at such a young age the more divorces are going to happen...when you young why would anyone want to be tied down like that just date the person for a few years and then you will know if you are ready for marriage or not...

People get divorced because it's better to divorce somebody than to murder them.
It can't be prevented.
And no. No memorial service. The day my divorce was finalised was, for me, a cause for celebration.
And I'm with Dorkboy about one thing, at least; I get on better with my ex now that we are apart than I did for the last 20 years we were married.
I no longer feel like doing her in.
In fact, I find myself wishing for her a long and very happy life.

I am having problems in my marriage now. The reason I would say people get divorced is because they can no longer communicate. One or both partners feel unappreciated. The sex life suffers. Then one day you wake up and you are living with a roomate, not a partner. I don't know how to prevent it, but I hope I can figure it out!!!

Lots of different reasons for divorce. No it can't be prevented. There is somewhat of a memorial service for them. It's called freedom day for some, for others it the worst day in their lives. For me it was neither, I'm better friends with my ex now then when we were married. She wanted something I couldn't give her while being with me. She wanted to be on her own completely. I couldn't fight or argue with that.

People get divorced for many reasons but usually it's because they cannot come to a mutual understanding on a specific issue, (i.e. finances, alcohol, family, etc).
No you should not have a memorial service for them they're not dead although the relationship they once had may be!

They get divorced because they meet someone intriguing. To prevent divorce, ban marriage.

Why do ppl get divorce: because they can't stand each other anymore.
How to prevent this: make sure no one gets married.
And: if have to have a memorial for all the ppl who get divorced, you'll be a milionaire, so go for it!!!

no cause thats life...........i say give them X like they did in the late 70's and early 80's
it saved many marriages....
