This website lets you sign up to get a chapter-a-day in your email. You don't get the whole book though. It's just for a week to see if you like the book. After that you have to get it at the public library or from Amazon.

I know that the new york public library lets you download books for free once u apply for a card (that's free too). Maybe your local library has a website.
