No you have some problem with your computer. Email support at TalkTalk again. But I doubt if they can help. You could try uninstalling the program and reinstalling it. It sounds like something in your start menu isn't right. Go to control panel - internet options and check settings there and see if everything looks right. My email address is on my web site - if you don't get it working email me and I'll look at my disk and try to figure it out. This is a problem I haven't heard of before and I've replaced my Talktalk modem with a wireless modem/router. But they assign you with a new IP every time you connect. You have a dynamic IP - it is possible it has something to do with that - but not likely - more likely something to do with your operating system. If you're using an older operating system than XP for example.

Not exactly answering the question but I must say that we've been with talk talk for our phone for a long while now since seeing their ads on satellite tv. Our phone bills have never been smaller. I did consider moving from BT to them for the broadband but waited to see how things went. Glad I did at the moment. I will re-consider talk talk when our contract is up, 'cos I get the impression they are 'honorable' in most respects. Some companies might not have been so lenient with the release from contract thing as previously mentioned.

I don't know, but I was watching Watchdog the other night and it seems that a lot of people have problems with Talk Talk. My friend has it and has to connect every time he wants to use it - Broadband is supposed to be always one! Get another ISP!

Talk Talk is all talk and nothing else.

Basically its crap. If you have an 18 month contract then you are now legally allowed to break it if you are dissatisfied with the service.

Hi >
We, me & my work-mates, have decided that the whole setup and set-up is total cr*p at the moment.
Have a peep at the warranty and send it all back. At their expense.
