during this time, but I still feel as exhausted as I did in the first trimester!

I would love to hear any helpful solutions from women who have experienced pregnancy before....
thank you very much!

Every woman is different. i know I didn't feel better until I was a few weeks into my 2nd trimester. And then before you know it you hit your 3rd trimester and you feel bad again.

If you really feel fatigued like you just can't get any energy then you might need to see if you are anemic. You can get iron pills to help with this. I was anemic during my pregnancy and the iron pills made a world of difference.

hope it gets better for you and congrats!

Not everyone is the same. When I first reached my 2nd trimester, I would ask my friends who are parents, "When is the morning sickness going to stop?" or "When am I going to start feeling more energetic like people say I'm supposed to?" They would all tell me it's supposed to kick in during the 2nd trimester, but I was already well into my 2nd trimester when everything subsided. I heard that it doesn't go away for others.

Best of luck to you and hope you feel better soon! :)

Not everyone and every pregnancy is the same. It might take a couple weeks for your hormones to level out and you to lose the fatigue.

I didnt feel tired and sluggish at all until the end of my second trimester. Which is right about now. lol.

I'm 27 weeks and I am now beginning to feel very tired. By about 2pm everyday I need a nap! Just go with it! Take as many breaks as you can and don't take on too much. I strained my back because I don't like asking for help, but I won't be doing that anymore! Enjoy the rest now, because once the baby's born, we won't have any!

I am 18 weeks pregnant and have just slowly started getting some energy back. I still am not motivated to do much but it is getting better with each week. I was sick-throwing up until 2 weeks ago so with that gone I am much better. I hope you can regain some energy-Good Luck! P.S. Make sure you are not low on iron.

I'm 17 weeks and if anything I am more tired now than I was last week and last trimester. My doctor says it will pass and it's normal. I'm waiting and praying for him to be right.

the energy will kick in. it sometimes takes a little longer for some than others. I felt the same way, and then suddenly I felt great! just be patient.
