ok, there was this crazy "voodoo" lady (no offense to the voodoo community) that came into a friend of mine's store, and informed my freind that she had no aura, BUT what she did see of an aura was a "black" one. and in the days follow the encounter with this crazy "voodoo" lady my friend came into some VERY bad and VERY strange encounters, so first off what the crap does this mean? and how can my friend fix it?

Let me answer the second part first as that is the easier of the two.

Someone who follows Wicca should be truthful to you unless they feel the truth would hurt you more and then even only in dire situations. The Wiccan Rede (law) states: "An in it harm none, Do as you will" which doesn't allow us to harm others and a lie will most definately harm someone. The only exception to this that I can think of is in doing a divination for someone and telling them they are going to be injured or killed in an accident. The reason you wouldn't tell someone this as that would only lead them to believe that it is unavoidable and nothing is. It would be far better to 'cushion' the truth with a warning to be careful for a period of time and 'watch out for dangers'.

There is no such thing as someone without an aura! Anyone telling you different is misinformed. Your aura is your personal magnetic field that based on the color shows your mood and personality. If that woman told your friend this and bad things happened it is because your friend believe that bad things were going to happen to them. Unfortunately, just telling your friend not to worry about it probably won't work because now a part of thier mind believes that they are "cursed" to bad things happening. Tell your friend to do something nice for the Earth or someone else for no reason and this will help with their Karma.

Bright Blessings to you and your friend )O(

If the lady really could see the aura, and it was black (not 'no aura') as she said, then the bad news is that your friend is/was probably very, very ill. An person's energy field (aura) will show changes in the health and mental state before they begin to manifest outwardly. A black Aura can indicate a life threatening illness (or possibly a dangerous, even suicidal psychological state).

So the "crazed" lady was probably just trying to warn your friend about what she thought could be a immanent hazard. If she offered to 'lift the curse' - for a fee - then perhaps she was not so noble or helpful as all that. If she was mercenary in that respect she may have been just trying to scare or extort money from someone she saw as gullible. On the other hand she may have been telling the truth and still asked for a fee - even so 'crazy' people have to make a living too... Come to think on it, it's not like doctors or lawyers work for free all the time either.

Your aura is an energy field produced by your mind and body - so it changes all the time - because of the changes in your health and mental/emotional state.

As for whether or not a witch is truthful or not? You should see an indication in the kind of life they live.

If they're a witch who can work magic with their words - then they have learnt that in order for their tongue to hold or carry magical power they *must* speak the truth all the time - or and the absence of truth will sap their power. Many do not seem to know this and their magic is sometimes warped by their attempt to work through the web of their falsehoods. Sometimes the results that they were attempting to cause produces side-effects which are reversed or dissipated or simply transitory, or they may become a bit "crazy" as a consequence of attempting to work magic without carefully respecting the power of truth.

That said; many people who are completely truthful would be seen in this society as "crazy" - you met her and you would have to be the one to judge whether she was one or the other sort of crazy...

My mother can see auras, though she doesn't interpret the meaning behind the colors -- she's not into that at all. However, when telling people the aura colors she sees, people often are surprised and say "but this other lady I went to to have my aura read said it was [a different color]!"

The moral is that it's all really subjective as to what color your aura is, and how large it is.

As for any potential jinx that may be on your friend, have her wash herself with some camphor soap and take a bath in water steeped with agrimony. That would fix any problem.

You don't need to 'fix' anything. Look for the preventable causes of the bad happenings, and plan your life carefully in order to remove chaos in your life. If you have an old car, get it maintained properly. Don't do anything to your body that removes control - e.g. alcohol or drugs.

Manage your schedule and your stress level. Work steady, to avoid future panics. Don't make big purchases on credit.

These steps seems non-magical, but they are powerful ways to change your aura to a more peaceful and powerful state. Then you won't be vulnerable to these types of curses and nasty stuff that you describe.

The "voodoo" people are very real, and have very real curses they can put on people. Tell yer friend to pray hard and don't accept or listen to what "voodoo" ppl say to her.
