I wanna do that on my car, but I can't because I don't have the machine to compress the coil spring, is there another way I could do it?

No that spring is under pressure if you take it off with out the tool it could kill. Call around to tool rental places some have car tools. I have seen a coil spring rip a hole in a fender so be very careful.

Advance auto rents the tool you need. It costs about $45 and you get a full refund when you return the tool.
