Occasionally, no. Everyday, yes. Pot makes you bored and boring. Especially if you are an addict. I think it works like alcohol. Moderation is best.

Of course its not bad. Weed shouldn't even be a controlled substance. It's stupid. Back when I had my office gig, I smoked every day. I still got up at 6am and went into work every day and busted my azz. Weed does not make you boring. In fact, I'm at my charismatic best when i'm stoned.

Anyways, only the true pot smokers should answer this question anyway. They're the only ones who know for sure if its a good or bad thing. Everyone else is on the outside lookin in.

It's bad the way smoking or being overweight is bad. You can get away with it probably for some time, but it does have its bad effects.

For one thing, it starts to degrade your memory. Doesn't sound very dramatic, but it does happen.

Two, it introduces a gradual laziness to you that happens so slowly you barely notice it, but again, it happens. So you may not miss an opportunity today, but you may basically blow one off in five years that might have changed the course of your life.

Also it's illegal, and I think any time we do something illegal that adds a weight to our life - I mean it is illegal - plus you can always get busted or embarassed. Also, people are going to know you do it, and some people who get promotions or selected over someone else, sometimes it's for the unofficial things the boss knows or suspects. Plus it defines you as in that part of the culture.

Other than that, as long as you don't put others at risk by injury or forgetting a baby is in the tub or something, then it's probably only as hazardous as smoking non-filtered cigarettes.

Pot tilts the balance of chemicals in the brain that regulate mood, energy, appetite, and attention.

It affects learning and memory processes, and can cause forgetfulness and reduced concentration.

Pot also reduces logical thinking and calculation skills, and can impair a user's ability to perform complex tasks, including driving a car.

Triggers a short-term drop in the hormones that direct growth and development.

Lowers sperm production in males, resulting in fewer normal sperm cells.

Tinkers with the balance of hormones that control the menstrual cycles of girls and women.

As long as you can deal with those problems, I guess you'll be okay! Good luck to ya!

You know everyone has a different opinion and I think as long as you have all your priorities like family and work taken care of it's not bad smoke with moderation. If it's medically pescribed I don't see all harm in it.

As long as you have your life together and you're not avoiding the bills just to purchase it, I think it's fine. God put it on this earth for a reason. There's nothing in the bible against it.

Ask your doctor, he'll tell you if it's bad or not. Ask the guy who got arrested last night for having weed. He'll tell you if it's bad or not. Ask a five year old kid who's in school. They're learning about it, they'll tell you if it's bad or not.
