Hello! My husband was a big fan of Robotech, growing up, and he asked me for a Robotech action figure for his birthday. Problem is, there are so many out there by different manufacturers that I have no idea where to buy the particular one he wants. He just showed me a picture of the one he wants:

It is a "Macross super poseable VF-1J Hikaru", and it was shown at Comic-Con 2001.

I would appreciate any help in finding where to buy this action figure. Thanks!

Toynami is your place but Toynami is the maker you have to find the reseller there are different series out but I think the one you are looking is under the
Macross Master piece collection which is pretty expensive.

A more recent release is the one I had pull a link from Amazon.
I listed the Amazon link but they are not cheap. I had bought the complete set at a discount from the Anime Expo for $25.00 so as you can see its kinda gone up.

Your best shot within the next 24 hours (since you never listed a time factor, although I'm assuming the birthday is soon) is to go to a comic book store. Amongst all the books you will find "toys" and collectibles, although you will be paying more than the original retail price.
If you do not know of any in your immediate area, dial 1-888-Comic Book for the store nearest you.

I love Robotech, and I would also definitely like to find out more info on where to buy collectibles.

They are SOOOOOOO hard to find.

Why don't you try stores like target, Kmart, Bestbuy, or maybe WalMart? They should have it at those places.
