Purples are a great shade to wear with green eyes. The contrast in the color can really make the green of your eyes appear brighter, and help your eyes stand out.

The rest of your coloring will determine the exact shade of purple that will work best for you. Some people look better with more red based purples, others with blue. Some look better in plum, others in lavender.

I think purple eyeshadow would look pretty with green eyes,it dont matter how dark the eyeshadow looks.

Because purple is across the color wheel from green, it does tend to make green eyes look greener. Same thing goes for orange shadows and blue eyes; blue eyes look bluer when they have orange next to them.

You don't have to use ALL purple though. A purple liner should be sufficient since it is the color right next to your eyes.

I have hazel eyes, almost green, and I like a lavender with a dark purple in the crease. However, believe it or not, light brown/dark brown looks very sophisticated, especially when I wear black. Try it!

I don't think there's ever a 'best' color. Purples are really nice with green eyes, but so are browns, and bronzes, skin tones, and even some blue colors. Reds can also look nice.

purple is the opposite of green so it can really make your eye color "pop"(if you have green eyes). but no matter what color eye shadow you chose. the most important thing to consider is how it goes with your skin tone, because your skin is really the first thing that gets noticed in the overall appearance of your face.
hope this helps
good luck and god bless : )

it looks good. Dark dramatic purples look best if you know how to apply right. My eyes are lime green and i've found (and been taught in beauty schhol lol) that, dark and light browns, greens, black, and golds look amazing with green eyes

It’s actually the colour and highlights of your hair rather than the colour of your eyes that will guide you through the colour range to find your perfect shades. A colour may appear softer or brighter, depending on how light or dark your complexion is. Products sheer in texture will reveal themselves only on a pale complexion; deeper skin tones require richer textures with shimmer.

With what I've read and seen on tv, brown is the best color to bring out green eyes.
