Are people really so bored that they have nothing better to do than sit around all day and think of stupid, usually mean spirited or just plain old rude questions?

Okay, so maybe I was a bit harsh. It's still a good question though. I do find that some of the serious questions are great help in real life, that's all.

I've asked a few serious questions, but I prefer to just ask fun ones. I don't think they're ever "mean spirited" though. I do have better things to do than think of them, but sometimes they just pop into my head. Is that ok with you?

I discovred Yahoo! Answers by needing an answer to a serious question. Sometimes I am bored and will post a fun question. I dont post sick questions.

I ask, and answer serious questions, but sometimes I need a laugh so I ask a silly questions, but I am never mean. I have no reason to be, and I love this site!

Both I enjoy serious and fun answers...I don't find that many mean spirited or rude questions..maybe you are feeling a bit grumpy and seeing the worst in things....turn off and do something else..me I love it...find it fun and informative...

I like answering serious questions, but I also can't help but give stupid answers to stupid questions sometimes, just for fun. I don't waste my time and points for asking stupid questions though.

i use it to pass the time at work. i think it's fun, but sometimes it can get a bit ugly
