The last and ONLY British Prime Minister o be shot was Spencer Perceval. He held the post until 1812. Spencer Perceval was shot when entering the lobby of the House of Commons by John Bellingham, a failed businessman from Liverpool

Spencer Perceval in 1812 by a pistol shot outside the house of commons. I think the assasin was called Bellinghan, cant remember his first name. He had fallen on hard times and blamed the government for it. He was hung a week later.
