i was wondering how to tell a real coach purse from a fake one.
i found one at good will and was wondering how to tell the difference thanks

There tons of ways. First make sure Coach is spelled correctly. On the zippers should be a little Coach written. No seams should be shown. The material should be thick and clearly not cheaply made. And the hardware should be real metal.

there are five basic ways to tell a fake purse of any kind:
1- there will be no frays of threadding or fabric anywhere! look closely, if there's a loose thread, it's a fake.
2- branding - all the genuine purses are branded inside and out. tags, lining, duster bag, certificate of auth. if you don't get all of them with your purchase, it's a fake.
3 - the pull for the zipper, the best fakes fall short here. a real bag will be stamped on both sides, perfect impression and perfectly centered. if not, it's a fake.
4 - hardware / zippers - all the hardware on the purse will be top quality. the zipper is smooth, the hardware shows no signs of distress or flaws. (look very closely).
5 - most important - KNOW YOUR LOGO!!!... Coach uses interlocking c's to change the direction of the print. If the bag dosen't have those, it's fake. Louis Viutton will never run a seam through the LV logo. There are other for other brands.
And of course.. if it comes out of a trunk, a truck or the back of a storefront.. it's a fake!

If you go on Ebay.com it has a section thats how to tell real coach from fake. It is not misleading. It will tell you everything you need to know. hope I helped some

dont know what coach is, but for Louis Vuitton, the pattern for the lettters match at the seam so the LV logo should match perfectly at the sewn line. even for the zipper section.

The ones in the trunk of my car are real and the ones at the store are fake....so which one you want.

grab their purse and dump out their belongings and then run like hell with the purse.. if owner chases you, its real.

the real ones are made from leather, the fakes are made from reather.

the coach hanging tag will be leather, not metal.

look inside! their will be a symbol and it will tell u if its real or not.
