In my experience, people who really have a lot, like a LOT, like a hundred million? But you can't tell it by looking at them? They're nice.
It's the ones who want you to see their designer clothing labels and expensive cars and hear about their latest trip to their ski lodge in Aspen or the apartment in New York who are jerks. And they'd be the same kind of status-conscious jerks if they were middle class. You know the type, keeping up with the Joneses?
If I won the lottery, I wouldn't have to turn to the dark side. I'm already there, baby. ;-)

I don't think they are. I think because they have money to do whatever they want they're alot happier & don't have the worry the rest of us have.
The first thing you would do if you won the lottery would be to spend alot just because you're comfortable enough to. That could be seen as turning to the "dark side" by some. Alot of people that are rich give more money away than you'd think. Look at Bill Gates. Look at Dave Gilmour.
You could maybe have begun with 90% of people are nasty. What would they be like with alot of money?

No I wouldn't. In my life I have been rich and poor back and forth a lot of times. It was health issues of loved ones that caused most of the money problems because I paid their medical bills (and I had insurance).
But that doesn't mean that a lot of rich people aren't a**holes because they are. I have seen cases in my own family where money did bad things so I learned by some of my relatives' poor examples.
If I did win a lottery sometime my goal would be to do good things with it first - charities, help select relatives, and only then take care of me and mine.

i really hope not if i really do but on the other hand i think i should be very safe cause i don't buy lottery so i think there's no chance for any strike. i can't comprehend why wasting all our time, energy and money go figure out what nos to buy for the lottery and not using the resources on something else better in life cause i think to win this kind of gamble is not realistic and if that's that easy no one will need to work hard and everyone will be reach by gambling but if one continue to loose it could bring them into deeper gambling. why bother to step into the pit?

I think you have to turn to the dark side in order to win the lottery in the first place!

No, I wouldn't change I hope. But I also wouldn't want to win too much money. Just enough to better my life. I have met a lot of nasty human beings and and most of them weren't rich.

Most people are evil, they just refuse to admit it...
And don't forget we live in Bizarro world where good is punished and evil is rewarded, so usually "nice" people are evil hypocrites who manipulate others into thinking they are "good" when in fact they are as corrupted and evil as the rest...
All the while the "honest" and "hard workers" end up being rewarded by punishment. So in essence, in today's Bizarro world, everyone who claims they are "good" are most probably evil and refuse to admit it... Most evil people I encounter in today's world hide behind a good facade, and NEVER will admit they are evil...
Humanity IS the dark side!

No way, I would give tons of it to a charity close to my heart, treat my friends to having their mortgages paid off, take us all on an exotic holiday in the Caribbean, have a nice party on our return home then splash a bit on my hubby and I, then put the rest in the bank.

and they don't leave you anything in their wills! What a shame. I would buy my sister and brother something what they wanted, besides giving equal amounts to my children A fair amount would be held in trust for my grandchildren. The only 'dark side' of me would be the plain chocolate I'd bathe in. Mmmm
