If they are really skinny, you get three. Midgets get 10!

In Colorado you get points for violations and they can accumulate until your license is suspended. Hitting a pedestrian would likely result in enough points to garner a permanent suspension or jail time, and rightly so.

Depends on the state you live in!

Also - check on if a person is NOT in the crosswalk, is it ystill your fault. I had heard that the point/ticket is less severe if you hit someone that is not in a crosswalk/sidewalk,etc because if they are just in the plain old road they are JAYWAlKING!

Actually it's like this:

2 points if they're physically fit and in the crosswalk
5 if they're older or out of shape
10 if they're handicapped
25 if they just double-parked or stole your parking space.
50 if they're jaywalking

It's my version; heard it since I was young and think it's probably been around a long time.

Yes you do. Right after the initial contact another person falls out of the sky, pulls you over, knocks on your window & hands you two golden stars!
