The movie The Exorcist was based on a real case in Iowa in the 20s or 30s. The rest of it is as you believe. Some folks think they're witches... some can be devils. Exorcism has been and continues to be done as the church decides it's necessary.

Witches are real in the sense that they are people who have a particular set of beliefs. For exorcism to be real the person would have to be possessed of a spirit, for which there is not a shred of evidence. They invariable are sought or carried out by people suffering from a mental disorder. There is not a shred of evidence to support the existence of 'The devil'.

This stuff is all nonsense! There are people who claim to be witches, but they have no magic powers and cannot ride brooms. Devils and angels are like ghosts, Loch Ness Monsters, ET's, Bigfoot, dragons, etc., i.e. only in imaginations. Some priests have performed exorcisms, but it's nonsense. I think some have been too rough and killed people being exorcised.

There are real witches..but not like you see in the movies. Witches are not green, nor do they fly or cackle. They don't eat small children either. They also do not have unusual magical powers and cannot change a prince into a frog.
Devils..no such thing. (real witches do not believe in any of these christian creatures)

It's really up to you to believe but there have been some related stories to the devil on the earth and other stories to suggest that all that what you asked is indeed REAL! Cases such as the Hull House in Chicago and what not that have been investigated. My belief is yes, they do exist.

Witches and Devils...Yes, they are VERY real. Most people call them Liberals and Democrats. Exorcism is conducted when Good people vote them out of office.

yes, witches are real, THE devil is real, and as far as I know exorcisms are real and have been used in the past.

Witches are definately real, I am on.
However, we're not anything like we've been portrayed on TV. We don't hex people, turn anything in to newts, or fly (except if we've got a ticket).
Witchcraft is primarily used for healing, and a Witch with any ethics would get your consent before casing anything on you, regardless of it's benefit to you.

Witches, yes. Those of us that practice Wicca are called Witches. It is an earth based religion and nothing like you learned about from Hollywood or stories....
Devils, maybe, it depends on your faith. Personally I don't believe there can be anything that is pure evil, the closest things to that are telemarketers and lawyers.
Exorcisms, dunno. I haven't had any exposure to either so I couldn't pass judgment on them.

Seeing as I have a friend who works as a professional exorcist I have to accept theres something there.
Whether it's witches, devils etc, or some other phenomena, I don't know
