I think it means one of three things
1. It means nothing
2. He thinks your having an affair
3. He is having an affair
I think the best thing you can do is to confront him with it and ask him what he meant.

It isn't that men know how to cheat more, they just historically do it more often. It's known as the hormone testosterone. Weak excuse, but men do fall back on their impulses more than women.
If you don't trust your beau, then you need to figure out why you question his comment. You may be picking up on something subliminally about his character. I hope he was just talking and nothing more. You need to be comfortable enough to ask him directly what he meant by his statement. May have been purely hypothetical.

Men are more capable by stereotype..they get caught more easy..women are just as capable but may need alittle more motive and can definitly hide it better..he may be more paronoid about you..thats my opinion..either way follow your intuition..you wre given that feeling for a reason never ignore it.

not necessarily, but just in case. Watch your back. One thing that I've found out is that us as women tend to read too much into what people say. I say just be on your p's and q's.

dont freak out, just keep your eyes open to any warning signs. if the guy is worth risking getting hurt over just play it cool.
if not, well the relationship isnt worthwhile anyway.

maybe you should ask him ....but i would not get upset just because he said the word ..."cheat"...it just sounds like a statement to me
