There are 3 computers on the network in my office. We are replacing one computer, and we must hook it up to the network like the old one was. My boss asked me to find out what the name of my PC's network name is (or what my PC's name within the network is). I'm lost! Help!

Right click on My Computer and go to Properties. Go to the Computer Name tab and it is listed under Workgroup or Domain.

It is in the properties of My Computer or system control panel on the Network ID tab.

You really only need to ask once.

This is a broad question, but I will assume you boss wants your workgroup/domain name. You can get it by:

Right-click on My Computer -->properties-->Computer Name tab

It will be listed next to Workgroup:

than it is very easy just right click on my computer click on the computer name tab see ur computer name and work group name

start -->> run -->> type "cmd" -->> then in the dos window type:"ipconfig"... you will be able to view details of your network ... then type " Exit" to exit the window.
