I have a lawnmower that doesnt run but yet is brand new. It has been sitting for about one year and I am sure that has something to do with it. Can anyone assist me with the steps I will need to do in order to get it running? I dont think that it will be a lot of hard work but I still need some direction. You can respond here and email me with more detailed directions if need be. milehighstar@yahoo.com.
Thanks!

Whenever I have a small engine that wont start after improper storage I

1.drain gas from the gas tank
2.drain gas from the carburetor
3.remove air cleaner and try too spray carb cleaner inside
4.check and clean if necessary thee spark plug

If you can smell a varnish type smell then it is defiantly bad gas.If the above steps don't work, unscrew the bolt under the carb which should enable the float bowl too come off.Spray carb cleaner liberally all over .In the future mix a gas stabilizer into any cans you use for small engines.

It's probably just the old gasoline. Empty the tank, and refill with fresh. This is a common problem

warranty might be finished, take it to a service repair shop for lawnmovers and have them check it out and service it...........
